In the latest Eastern North Carolina Home Sales Index, pending sales, a key indicator of sales that will take place over the next 30-45 days, decreased 8.9% from the previous month. The number of pending sales at the beginning of January was 1,169 as compared to the beginning of December, which was at 1,283.

The number of pending sales fell in 7 of the 11 markets in the ENCHSI. The largest increase was 13.9% in the Northeastern counties, while the largest decrease was 22.7% in Pitt County.

The Eastern North Carolina Home Sales Index includes the following counties: Beaufort, Carteret, Craven, Lenoir, Nash, the Northeastern Counties, (Camden, Chowan, Pasquotank, and Perquimans) Onslow, the Outer Banks, (Dare and Currituck) Pitt, Wayne, and Wilson.

The number of pending sales fell in 4 of the 11 markets in the ENCHSI.  The largest increase was 25.7% in the Outer Banks, while the largest decrease was 21.7% in Lenoir County.

 

The Eastern North Carolina Home Sales Index includes the following counties:  Beaufort, Carteret, Craven, Lenoir, Nash, the Northeastern Counties, (Camden, Chowan, Pasquotank, and Perquimans) Onslow, the Outer Banks, (Dare and Currituck) Pitt, Wayne, and Wilson.

The number of pending sales fell in 7 of the 11 markets in the ENCHSI. The largest increase was 20.8% in Wayne County, while the largest decrease was 19% in the Outer Banks.

The number of pending sales fell in 6 of the 11 markets in the ENCHSI. The largest increase was 30.6% in Beaufort County, while the largest decrease was 21.9% in the Northeastern Counties.

The number of pending sales fell in 9 of the 11 markets in the ENCHSI. The largest increase was 2.4% in Wilson County, while the largest decrease was 23.5% in Lenoir County.

The Eastern North Carolina Home Sales Index includes the following counties: Beaufort, Carteret, Craven, Lenoir, Nash, the Northeastern Counties, (Camden, Chowan, Pasquotank, and Perquimans) Onslow, the Outer Banks, (Dare and Currituck) Pitt, Wayne, and Wilson.
