The revaluation division of Rasberry Shackelford & Associates is led by four principal appraisers, each with diverse backgrounds and valuation expertise. The principal team has over a half century combined experience with a hands on approach that ensures top quality and accurate results. Each member of the team is certified by the NC Department of Revenue. 

In addition to being Department of Revenue Certified, both Jay Shackelford and Matt Hawk are Certified General Real Estate Appraisers and David Allen is a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser.  Our firm also understands issues from the county perspective as two of our principals have significant experience as county tax assessors.  Johnnie Edmonson has the most experience in this area, having retired with 32+ years of experience as a tax administrator in Edgecombe and Wilson Counties.  Johnnie has managed and directed seven revaluations during his tenure and is listed with the NC County Commissioners Association to provide interim tax administration services to NC counties in need. 

Our firm is also a member of the local MLS in each of the counties we cover and we regularly perform extensive market research and publish monthly market reports for most of the counties, allowing us to stay on top of any changes in these local markets.
